We’re looking for people with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow. Join Grid Technology Service as an Administrative Assistant to help us re-imagine the world by finding solutions and making the world a smarter place for tomorrow.
This role will be based at our new factory in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, and will initially coincide with the factory’s construction. The Administrative Assistant plays an important role in supporting the operations of a new power transformer manufacturing facility. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks, including managing schedules, handling correspondence, facilitating the onboarding process for new employees, and organizing events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to supporting the General Manager and the team.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities for a productive work environment.
  • Organize and coordinate office activities, events, and customer/headquarter visits.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, training schedules, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure a smooth transition for new employees into the organization.
  • Plan and manage logistics for internal and external events, including team-building activities and client meetings.
  • Support calendar organization, appointment scheduling, and meeting coordination, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes, employee training, and event planning is a plus; candidates must be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC, and be legally authorized for employment in the U.S. without sponsorship..
