A snapshot of your day


As a Strategy & Innovation Manager for the Gas Services Solutions business, you could imagine beginning your day by steering cross‑functional teams around strategic priorities and forming an action plan for implementation. Throughout the day, you drive workshop sessions with multi-disciplinary teams on topics focused on competitiveness, support benchmarking competitor business models and prepare Innovation business cases for an upcoming Steering Committee meeting. You wrap up by following up on implementation of defined actions with respective stakeholders ensuring ideas come to reality and drive business impact.


How You’ll Make an Impact


  • Drive modularization, standardization & innovation initiatives by being involved in complete EPC (Erection, Procurement, Commissioning) lifecycle of complex power plants and hybrid solutions
  • Lead and integrate cross-functional teams, esp. interfacing with diverse fields (e.g., electrical, controls & instrumentation, process, mechanical, plant layout, etc.), and collaborate across organizational boundaries to advance concepts towards maturity
  • Monitor medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence through benchmarking initiatives to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership
  • Identifying growth opportunities, business model innovation, and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives
  • Develop, prioritize and monitor R&D investments, business cases across new solution development initiatives

What You Bring


  • Prior experience in strategy, innovation, benchmarking, competitiveness programs.
  • Analytical fluency (cost models, KPI frameworks, structured problem solving) and strong business acumen, with good hands-on skills on PowerPoint & Excel
  • Ability to simplify complexity into clear actions and build consensus across diverse stakeholders; Leadership by influence—drive cross-functional alignment without formal line authority.
  • Curiosity and growth mindset: challenge the status quo, experiment, and iterate rapidly.
  • University degree; comfortable with global collaboration and travel as needed.
  • Prior power plant / energy sector experience is a plus.
