Quality Business Partner
Quality Business Partner Role Purpose The Quality Business Partner (QBP) serves as a trusted advisor to Sales and Project Management within Gas Services North America, ensuring contractual, customer, and quality requirements are fully embedded across bid, project execution, and delivery phases.This role provides expert guidance on quality planning, project quality gates, nonconformance management, and cost of quality to enable compliant, predictable, and sustainable business outcomes. As an integral member of the North America Gas Services Quality team, the QBP works cross‑functionally to influence decision‑making, strengthen prevention mindsets, and drive continuous improvement—balancing customer satisfaction, contractual adherence, and business performance. The role offers high autonomy, exposure to complex projects, and opportunities for professional growth across the quality, commercial, and project delivery landscape. Key Responsibilities Project & Process Optimization Partner with Sales and Project Management to ensure contractual, customer, and regulatory quality requirements are clearly understood, planned, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle. Establish and maintain processes to: Monitor fulfilment of contractual and committed quality requirements Manage structured customer feedback and professional communications Capture, analyze, and resolve customer complaints and quality issues Assess nonconformance events, identify systemic trends, and provide actionable insights to drive prevention and organizational learning. Apply continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., process mapping, Lean, Kaizen) to reduce risk, waste, and rework, while improving project execution effectiveness. Plan and coordinate assessments, reviews, and audits to evaluate compliance, effectiveness, and improvement opportunities. Stakeholder Partnership & Governance Act as the primary quality interface for Sales and Project Management, providing timely guidance on customer expectations, contractual obligations, and risk areas. Facilitate cross‑functional resolution of nonconformances, corrective actions, and preventive measures while reinforcing accountability and ownership. Promote a strong prevention and “right‑first‑time” culture across partner organizations. Ensure accurate assignment, tracking, and governance of Non‑Conformance Cost (NCC), supporting transparency and financial discipline. Influence stakeholders through data‑driven insights rather than direct authority. Data, Risk & Decision Support Proactively analyze quality, cost, and risk data to anticipate issues and support informed decision‑making at both project and leadership levels. Support the development and adoption of digital tools and platforms (e.g., dashboards, Power BI, AI‑enabled analytics) to enhance visibility, consistency, and decision quality. Drive improvements in nonconformance data quality, reporting consistency, and tool utilization across the region. What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of combined experience in one or more of the following areas:project management, quality assurance, manufacturing, field services, or customer‑facing operations. Strong working knowledge of: Nonconformance management and corrective action systems Project and business cost flows Cost of quality / NCC management Demonstrated ability to operate as a business partner—balancing compliance, customer satisfaction, and commercial objectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing diverse stakeholders without direct authority. Proven analytical, facilitation, and presentation capabilities, with the ability to translate data into practical business insights. Highly organized, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently in a complex, matrixed environment. Additional Requirements Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.Siemens Energy employees with existing visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfer.
