You start your day checking the status of the projects you are responsible for.  Next you may meet with any customers on-site and escort them out to the factory to see their equipment.  You may have customer meetings to prepare for and to report out in.  You can work on some of your monthly project reports.  You will also participate in weekly collaborative production meetings with factory operations personnel.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Work with Proposals and the Region AM/ROW counterparts to clarify technical work and resources necessary to satisfy order requirements.
  • Function as the primary point of contact for the internal customer on all matters pertaining to the project.
  • Support the Region AM/ROW Project Manager where necessary in meetings with the Customer and with the facilitation of Customer Witness activities in the factory.
  • Respond to requests for quotation and support Region AM/ROW negotiations for additional scope following order entry and throughout the product warranty phase.
  • Process internal project change notices as required.
  • Coordinate and review software and hardware deliverables, and report on project performance, including financial status and risk mitigation.
  • Notify product line management when the product or service does not meet order/contractual requirements. Ensure that projects meet cost targets, scope requirements, and schedule.  Take mitigating action when there are discrepancies.
  • Act as an advisor to top management and business partners on technical matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
