A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Head of Bid Management Excellence (BMX), you will lead a global team committed to driving process, governance, tool optimization, and continuous improvement across the Bid Management organization within Compression (CP). The successful candidate will not only Build and maintain succession plans for critical roles within the Bid Management Excellence organization, but will also Foster continuous growth, engagement, and capability building across the BMX team. The selected candidate reports directly to the Global VP of Bid Management.

 

Your leadership ensures that best‑in‑class processes, digital tools, and methodologies are developed, implemented, and sustained—enhancing efficiency, quality, and competitiveness throughout the Sales Phase!


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead a global team driving process governance, tool innovation, AI integration, and   continuous improvement in Bid Management.
  • Oversee the design, rollout, and adoption of global improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and govern processes, work instructions, and training materials to support onboarding,  change management, and audit readiness; develop dashboards and KPIs to  strengthen transparency and decision‑making.
  • Prioritize tool development and feature enhancements based on ROI, capacity, and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners—including Product Digitalization, Procurement, and  Engineering—to deliver aligned improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales Excellence on training, capability development, and communication priorities.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in Bid Management, ideally with exposure to rotating equipment.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably leading global or cross‑regional teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, digitalization, and operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to design, execute, and sustain improvement initiatives with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • High cultural awareness, experience working across diverse regions, and willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.
