How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build and enhance applications using Mendix, applying your skills in real projects with global impact.
• Work with stakeholders from different regions to capture requirements and turn them into functional designs.
• Model data structures, workflows, and user interfaces in Mendix to improve processes and efficiency.
• Integrate applications with external systems, APIs, and databases to extend their capabilities.
• Test, troubleshoot, and refine applications to ensure high quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with international teams to share knowledge and support continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• You have proven experience developing applications with Mendix, including domain modeling, workflows, UI design, and business logic.
• You know HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and database concepts such as SQL.
• You have experience working with RESTful APIs and version control systems like Git.
• You communicate clearly and work well with colleagues across different regions, cultures, and time zones.
• You are proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with the drive to keep learning new technologies.

About the Team
The Innovation & Digital Transformation – Applications team is part of Field Service Operations within Gas Services at Siemens Energy. We support this area through the development of digital solutions that enhance efficiency, enable smarter ways of working, and drive innovation. Based in Lisbon, Portugal, and Mülheim, Germany, we operate in a multicultural environment that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. Our team brings together deep expertise and a strong spirit of teamwork to deliver solutions that create real value on a global scale.
