    A Snapshot of Your Day

    As a GT Spindle Builder, you will be responsible for the detailed assembly, inspection, and repair of turbine rotors and related components. Your role will involve performing a variety of fitting and assembly operations, ensuring adherence to safe and efficient production processes. You will work with minimal direction to manage your workflow, including part preparation, blading, and assembly, while maintaining the highest quality standards and meeting specified timelines.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Perform fitting, inspection, and assembly operations on turbine rotors and related parts, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
    • Complete blend/detailing, blast preparation, and assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail.
    • Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances, ensuring all products meet drawing requirements.
    • Collaborate with team members to solve assembly issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

    What You Bring

    • High School Diploma or equivalent plus, 1-3 years of experience with industrial-mechanical equipment. 
    • Proven ability to use precision measuring equipment.
    • Experience with basic shop math to perform stack-up calculations.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and comprehend, and implement work scope to ensure that the product meets instructions and drawing requirements.
    • Ability to acquire a Crane License and Fork Truck License and to lift 50 lbs.
    • Must also be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English. Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status required
