About the Team
Our Gas Service organization is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated Finance Manager to lead and develop a team of CPMs for Distributed Projects. In this role, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects and project financials (controlling, reporting, and forecasting). You will work together with our head of project management organization with the main objective of completing the projects according to our contractual obligations, project management standards, and applicable financial guidelines.
A strong critical thinking ability, leadership skills and a collaborative approach are critical for success in this role.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
- Lead and develop a team of Commercial Project Managers, overseeing daily financial and commercial operations for PoC and CoCo projects across LTP, O&M, and M&U service lines, including Accounting, Legal, Tax, FX, and NCM topics.
- Partner with the Distributed RNA Head of PM and regional leadership to align on short- and long-term strategic objectives while ensuring adherence to internal and external policies and guidelines.
- Support the Operational Finance Head by providing financial guidance, driving effective planning, analysis, controlling, and ensuring standardized and compliant contract management across supplier, customer, and service agreements.
- Oversee all accounting, financial statement preparation, reporting activities, and audit support to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
- Lead financial evaluation of project and product portfolios, including CAPEX assessments, and collaborate on complex bids and tenders to support sound commercial decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement and finance transformation initiatives, delivering innovative solutions that enhance process efficiency and overall business performance.
What You Bring (requirements)
- Required education: BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance or related field required.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience, with proven experience in financial and commercial project management.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with the ability to guide direct reports, collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments, and communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen, including solid knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analysis, and proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office, and preferred analytics tools such as Alteryx or Tableau.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities—able to assess complex issues with limited information, manage multiple priorities under pressure, and consistently drive results in both strategic and operational capacities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset and ability to support business objectives; willingness to travel up to 5%.
