The Siemens Energy Omnivise System (OES) is crucial, as it centralizes data and supports the implementation of adaptable digital solutions for infrastructure operators. Cyber Platform Manager ensures accurate security, governance, and maintenance for Siemens Energy solutions. The Cyber Platform and Solution Security Manager leads all aspects of essential elements such as the OES system, pertinent data, specific digital solutions, connection techniques, and industry scenarios. Lead audit responses internally and externally to ensure Siemens Energy digital solutions align with regulations. This role offers an exhilarating challenge with a substantial impact on safeguarding both the Siemens Energy organization and customer network.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Complete development of the Omnivise Ecosystem (OES) platform security concept, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards both internal and external to Siemens Energy
  • Develop a strategy to ensure ongoing updates are effectively coordinated for the OES security approach.
  • Develop a data security and governance framework to ensure information being collected, exchanged, and/or stored across digital solutions is properly protected based on classification
  • Develop a security concept for all OES digital solutions; review existing concepts, assist in implementing improvements for consistency
  • Engage with existing and prospective customers to explain Siemens Energy’s approach to securing the OES and solutions delivered via the platform
  • Educate and train global collaborators (e.g., sales, execution, etc.) on OES security features, value proposition, and relevance to OES use cases and customer segments
  • Develop and manage the annual R&D plan for OES security concept and related feature enhancements; maintain a clear roadmap, execute projects, and provide routine status reporting on relevant KPIs and milestones
  • Collect feedback from platform developers and customer-facing personnel; translate comments into defined feature enhancement requests; prioritize feature enhancements based on technical, regulatory, and financial criteria
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry standards, cybersecurity regulations, and competitive landscapes to ensure the OES platform and digital offerings remain differentiated and compliant

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field; Master’s degree in a similar discipline preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of experience with cybersecurity architecture, risk assessment, and data governance; ability to independently produce deliverables such as architecture diagrams, risk registers, governance frameworks, process flow diagrams, etc.
  • Experience performing cybersecurity functions within OT, IoT, and/or industrial environments; energy sector, industrial applications, industrial software, and/or cloud experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of international cyber control frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST 800.53, NERC CIP, NIS 2, CRA, ISO 27001, etc.)
  • Proven ability to operate in a matrixed environment, collaborating across globally distributed and diverse teams representing sales, solution management, research and development, and product delivery,
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills; able to simplify technical concepts for diverse and multilingual audiences
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as dictated by work requirements
  • Relevant industry or cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA, GIAC, Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP, AWS Cloud Security, CISA, CISM, etc.) not required but preferred
