A Snapshot of your Day

In your role as a Visa Delegation Specialist, you will support business continuity within Field Service International by helping address a sustained increase in visa and delegation requests across North America. This position manages the full lifecycle of visa and delegation cases, from initiation through completion, while serving as the primary liaison between employees, management, and external legal partners. The role calls for strong experience in corporate immigration or global mobility, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently as a senior-level professional to ensure timely, compliant service delivery.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of U.S. and Canadian visa and international delegation cases for field service employees, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, and external immigration counsel, initiating cases and driving them through completion.
  •  Collect, review, and validate all required documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to immigration requirements.
  • Track case progress against deadlines, provide clear and regular status updates, and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, advising employees, managers, and HR partners on visa and delegation processes, requirements, and timelines.
  •  Partner closely with HR, Legal, Field Operations, and external vendors to ensure seamless coordination and consistent service delivery.
  • Maintain detailed records and reporting on case volumes, timelines, and costs while contributing to process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

  • An associate degree or equivalent experience in HR, Global Mobility, International Business, or Project Administration, providing a strong foundation for managing complex, compliance-driven processes.
  • Over 4 years of experience in corporate immigration, global mobility, or employment-based visa support (U.S. and/or Canadian experience strongly preferred), allowing you to manage cases with confidence and accuracy.
  • Proven strengths in global mobility, workflow management, and project coordination, with a track record of driving process efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and risk management skills, ensuring governance, compliance, and thorough documentation across all activities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, including collaboration, influencing skills, and clear verbal and written communication with employees, leaders, and external partners.
  • Critical thinking, accountability, and sound judgment, enabling you to manage competing priorities while delivering reliable, high-quality outcomes.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
