About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will lead the ramp-up activities for HVDC Operations and Maintenance, ensuring a smooth transition to steady-state operations. You will work closely with clients and internal teams, coordinating efforts to meet project milestones while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead HVDC Operations and Maintenance ramp-up activities for service commencement.
- Prepare project documentation, authorisations, and work packages for transition to steady-state operations.
- Act as the primary interface between clients and the internal HVDC operations team.
- Coordinate site teams to achieve project milestones on time.
- Manage project financials, including budgets and cost reporting.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and profitability.
What You Bring
- Degree in an Engineering-related subject or 10 years of industry experience.
- Project Management Qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management, preferably in the Electricity Transmission Industry.
- Strong project commercial and financial experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in negotiation.
- Knowledge of HVDC maintenance and High Voltage standards.
- IT Literacy (MS Office, including MS Project).
