- Guiding cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Integrating cost considerations into design and project decisions throughout the design lifecycle, leading cost-out initiatives, defining cost-out targets, and maintaining robust cost management frameworks to support business objectives
- Crafting arguments for new cost-out programs and collaborating across organizations to implement them
- Embedding agile principles in daily operations, ensuring teams are empowered, obstacles are removed quickly, and priorities are always clear
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Business Administration, or a related technical field, whereby sufficient hands-on experience in the field of product cost management can be considered in lieu of education
- Extensive experience in power generation, gas turbines, or heavy industry, as well as experience with budget planning, process optimization, and sophisticated project management is a plus
- Experience in guiding varied teams, especially in Agile/Scrum settings, with clear communication and adjusting messages for different groups
- Background in product cost management, hardware modernization, and/or power plant service operations, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A strong internal drive and dedication to continuous improvement and innovation to achieve goals, while being agile, collaborative, and passionate about outcomes.
- Ability to collaborate with teams, apply network, and occasionally travel for tasks (~ 10 - 15% travel)
