About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Production Planner for the Small Machining area within the Steam Turbine Service Operations business, you will lead scheduling and coordination activities that directly support critical customer outages. Serving as the operations manager’s key partner, you will align teams, resources, and capabilities to ensure precision component delivery and operational excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Prioritize safety and quality in all planning activities.
- Layout and coordinate the plan of execution plan for machining, nitriding, and related mechanical processes to provide the best path towards success.
- Drive performance through on-time delivery, cost stewardship, and continuous improvement of planning tools and processes.
- Leverage data analytics, historical trends, and lean workflows to elevate operational efficiency.
- Perform capacity planning, NAH forecasting, and budgeting.
- Provide strong customer service and uphold Siemens Energy performance expectations.
- Collaborate across multiple support functions to ensure seamless execution.
- Navigate challenges effectively to create mutually beneficial outcomes for internal partners.
What You Bring
- Bachelor of Science and 5+ years of relevant scheduling/planning experience (equivalent experience considered).
- APICS CPIM certification is highly preferred.
- SAP experience and project management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of business financials and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
