A Snapshot of Your Day

The Service Operations Finance team is seeking an experienced Senior Operational Finance Analyst to serve as the primary Finance Business Partner for the Tooling Centers. In this role, you will be responsible for driving financial transparency, strong governance, and sustained performance across tooling spend, capital investments, and productivity. In addition, you will act as the dedicated finance contact for Siemens Energy Staffing Inc. (SESI).

Your day will span strategic financial partnering, business case development, capital and asset oversight, KPI management, and leadership level reporting. You will work closely with Tooling Center leadership, capital coordinators, Service operations, business controlling, and other stakeholders, acting as the single point of contact from Finance for tooling related topics. In addition, you will provide financial support for SESI (Siemens Energy Staffing Inc.), ensuring strong cost controls, compliance, and insightful analysis.

The role requires a high degree of independence and ownership, paired with the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, cross functional environment and translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights that support operational excellence and informed strategic decision making.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Serve as a trusted Finance Business Partner to Tooling Centers, supporting day-to-day operations and long-term strategy while advising stakeholders across operational and leadership levels.
  • Partner with Tooling Capital Coordinators and operational leaders to drive financial planning, performance tracking, and execution, providing proactive insights and challenging assumptions.
  • Lead financial evaluation of tooling investments, including business cases, CAPEX planning, prioritization, and post-investment reviews to ensure alignment with Service Operations strategy.
  • Oversee tooling asset management, including Assets Under Construction (AuC), capitalization, depreciation, and compliance with RIC controls and internal governance requirements.
  • Own financial oversight of tooling spend, including budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and variance analysis; deliver actionable insights through cost reporting and leadership presentations.
  • Act as the primary Finance partner for SESI, supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance with financial guidelines (FRGs), and delivering ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions and audits.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in controlling, cost management, or operational finance.
  • Proven experience in finance business partnering with strong stakeholder engagement, combined with excellent analytical and communication skills to translate financial insights for non-finance audiences.
  • Solid understanding of CAPEX, asset accounting, tooling/equipment financials, and internal control frameworks, with hands-on experience in SAP (CO, FI; MM preferred) and advanced Excel skills managing complex datasets.
  • High level of ownership and integrity, with the ability to operate independently and drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
