Join our dynamic Grid Consulting team as a Senior Consultant (f/m/d) in Grid Integration, where you will be the driving force behind transformative projects for our clients, including renewable developers, investors, and grid operators. Imagine starting your day by connecting with a client considering a new renewable project; you will listen to their ambitions and translate them into a clear project roadmap that encompasses everything from early investment decisions to grid code compliance and design. As the primary point of contact, you will own the client relationship from start to finish, acquiring new opportunities, shaping compelling proposals, and managing projects to successful delivery. You will collaborate with internal experts, ensuring a unified Siemens Energy voice while anticipating risks and keeping stakeholders engaged. Every day will bring new challenges, whether you are steering a kickoff workshop, negotiating project scope, mentoring colleagues, or presenting results that inspire client confidence. You thrive on this variety, knowing that each project contributes significantly to the energy transition.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Own projects end-to-end, from early investment decisions through Pre-FEED and FEED studies, taking full responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, and delivery quality.
- Orchestrate cross-functional, multicultural teams, aligning network studies specialists, grid code compliance experts, design experts, and commercial functions to meet client expectations. Manage stakeholders proactively, anticipating risks and resolving challenges early.
- Drive grid code compliance throughout the project lifecycle, helping clients de-risk their investments and secure bankable, compliant outcomes.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring they experience a confident, coordinated Siemens Energy voice.
- Contribute to team growth by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and evolving our portfolio from network studies to holistic lifecycle advisory.
What You Bring
- A university degree in electrical power engineering, with additional qualifications such as an MBA or project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA) being a strong plus.
- Several years of professional experience in the power and energy sector, ideally in grid connection, renewable integration, or transmission systems, with a proven track record in consulting, network studies, or project management.
- Advanced project management skills, successfully leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects from acquisition through delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
- Solid technical understanding of grid code compliance and grid integration, enabling credible engagement with clients and technical experts.
- Familiarity with power system simulation programs (e.g., PSS®E, PowerFactory, PSS®NETOMAC, PSCAD/EMTDC, Matlab/Simulink) and real-time simulation is an added advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities, comfortable being the primary customer interface and aligning diverse internal teams and external partners toward shared goals.
- Initiative, creativity, analytical and strategic thinking, teamwork, customer orientation, and a preference for intercultural collaboration characterize your working style.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet clients, partners, and colleagues across regions.
- Fluent English and German skills (spoken and written) is required; Other languages are an advantage given our international client base

About the Team
You will be part of the Project Management group known as Project Controls in a section of the company called Project Entity which is responsible for the implementation of complex projects. The projects span the power industry, from power generation to power transmission, to modern sustainable energy solutions.
