About the Role
Sales Manager
For our Transformation of Industry Business Area at Siemens Energy in Ankara, we are looking for a Sales Manager reporting to the Business Unit Head. A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our customers with service sales of rotating equipment, ensuring their service needs are met throughout the entire lifecycle. This means that you will identify service and modernization needs for steam turbines and generators.
You will collaborate closely with internal specialists and external partners to develop tailored technical and commercial solutions that deliver real value to our customers. A significant part of your day is dedicated to building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers through meetings, technical discussions, and ongoing communication.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Observe and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer dynamics.
- Implement the service sales strategy by increasing installed base penetration and effectively utilizing Salesforce (SFDC). Provide accurate information through SFDC for forecasting and planning.
- Ensure achievement of service sales targets by providing cost-effective solutions and initiating improvement plans when required.
- Plan sales volumes and assess the potential of target customers.
- Increase market share with existing customers and generate new business opportunities with potential customers.
- Perform technical presentations and participate in customer meetings.
- Support the Business Unit Manager and report activities and market information in accordance with company guidelines.
- Comply with and help enforce the protocols, policies, guidelines, and competencies defined by the company’s integrated management system (EHS, Quality).
What You Bring
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in services and/or rotating equipment such as steam/gas turbines, generators, or turbo compressors.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment sales, operation, and maintenance is a plus.
- Strong command of written and spoken Turkish and English, including presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs; experience with SFDC is an advantage.
- Team-oriented, technically inclined, analytical, proactive, innovative, solution- and target-oriented.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
What else do you need to know?
- Valid driving license and no restrictions for intensive travel.
- Military service must be completed for male candidates.
