About the Role
- Support of the Chief Occupational Safety Specialist and promotion of a sustainable safety culture among managers and employees
- Advisory support to managers on legal and normative requirements, including risk assessments, operating instructions, and safety inspections
- Support of safety programs, accident and occupational disease analyses, regulatory reporting, and initiation and follow-up of corrective safety measures
- Function as central contact for managers and CAPA stakeholders on root cause analyses, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
- Support of new processes and internal training in non-conformance management, including 8D meetings, CAPA coordination, and sustainability checks
- Contribution to operational efficiency, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and cost-out initiatives through effective CAPA measures
- Completed Qualification as occupational safety specialist in accordance with §7 ASiG and DGUV Regulation 2
- Technical degree or equivalent technical education combined with several years of experience in EHS or safety management
- In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and Siemens Energy internal EHS standards
- Initial experience in quality management, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering or fluid flow machines
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills with methodological expertise in reactive quality management (e.g. RCA, 5-Whys, 8D)
- Experience with production and assembly environments, SAP systems, databases, MS Office, and fluency in German and English
