We are in search of a dynamic and meticulous professional to lead the team responsible for developing competitive, high-quality technical and commercial offers for our customers. This role combines leadership, cross-functional coordination, and strong commercial and technical acumen to support the growth of our distribution transformers business in North America!

Developing technical and commercial proposals stays in sync with specifications, providing support to the outside sales organization, lead day-to-day operations of the inside sales team with the goal of maintaining and expand the customer base, order intake and profit!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Detail oriented driving continuous improvement in proposal processes, pricing tools, and response time
  • Team player coordinating work with factories, sales force, and finance to align offers with internal capabilities and customer requirements
  • Organizational skills and leadership mentoring team members to ensure work is completed with quality and timely delivery
  • Support strategic bid reviews and participate in key customer negotiations when required
  • Supervise critical metrics related to proposal success rates, turnaround time, and prioritization

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in proposal or application engineering. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
