A Snapshot of Your Day

As the person responsible for supervising the AMY project, I start each day by reviewing the execution status of orders and projects at each location, assigning tasks to resolve any issues identified. I coordinate meetings with the Project Managers of each plant to analyze production progress, schedules, and operational challenges. Additionally, I collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as engineering, finance, procurement, and operations to ensure that order execution aligns with strategic objectives and key business results. A key part of my role involves identifying potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and developing mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and reliability. Finally, I contribute to long-term strategic planning aimed at the sustainable success of the AMY project, in line with Siemens Energy’s sustainability principles and business continuity goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  1. Implement professional and structured project management processes to execute the orders / projects on hand in consideration of on time shipments, costs, and product quality by developing robust process descriptions at all locations.
  2. Ensuring that all AMY team members are aligned and understanding the AMY project objectives, processes, targets and pulling in the same direction to serve customers.
  3. Collaborate with teams to ensure proper Material Planning to avoid production delays, maintaining lead times per production capacity and forecasting.
  4. Risk management to identify short and long term expected challenges and implement mitigation measures with all stackeholders.
  5. Facilitate collaboration between the project, factories, cluster functions and other departments by strong measurement and reporting system of publishing key results periodically for AMY project.

What You Bring

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  2. 8+ years’ proven experience of project and teams’ management in electrical product business.
  3. Individual who can lead teams from multi-cultural factories with proven interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  4. Experience of working in Microsoft office, Salesforce, and SAP environments.
  5. Knowledge of industry regulations, contract law, and product compliance requirements.
  6. Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

About the team:

The AMY Program Manager at Siemens Energy will interact with a variety of teams and stakeholders, including:

  1. Procurement Team: Direct reports and procurement specialists who handle day-to-day sourcing activities, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
  2. Finance Department: Collaborating with finance professionals to align procurement budgets, analyze cost savings, and ensure financial compliance in procurement activities.
  3. Engineering and R&D Teams: Working closely with engineers and researchers to understand technical requirements, support product development, and source innovative materials and technologies.
  4. Operations and Supply Chain Management: Engaging with operations teams to ensure that procurement strategies align with production schedules and supply chain efficiency.
  5. Legal Department: Coordinating with legal experts to review contracts, ensure compliance with regulations, and mitigate risks associated with supplier agreements.
  6. Sales and Marketing Teams: Collaborating with sales and marketing to understand customer needs and market trends, ensuring that procurement supports product offerings and competitive positioning.
  7. Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Teams: Partnering with sustainability experts to implement eco-friendly procurement practices and align with corporate sustainability goals.
  8. Executive Leadership: Reporting to and collaborating with senior management to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives and corporate vision.
