About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a Production Planner for the Small Assembly area within the Steam Turbine Service Operations business! In this dynamic role, you will lead the scheduling and coordination activities that are vital for supporting critical customer outages. As a key partner to the operations manager, you will align teams, resources, and capabilities to ensure precise component delivery and achieve operational excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will prioritize safety and quality in all planning activities.
- Layout and coordinate the execution plan for valve service, actuator, and related mechanical processes to pave the best path towards success.
- Drive performance through on-time delivery, cost stewardship, and continuous improvement of planning tools and processes.
- Leverage data analytics, historical trends, and lean workflows to elevate operational efficiency.
- Perform capacity planning, NAH forecasting, and budgeting while ensuring production schedules align with customer demand and resource efficiency through a solid understanding of TAKT time principles.
- Collaborate across multiple support functions to ensure seamless execution and navigate challenges effectively to create mutually beneficial outcomes for internal partners.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor of Science degree and 5+ years of relevant scheduling/planning experience (equivalent experience considered).
- APICS CPIM certification is highly preferred.
- SAP experience and project management experience are a plus.
- Knowledge of business financials and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- You must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division is dedicated to providing low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We focus on zero or low-emission power generation, encompassing all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators. Our team is committed to exploring decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
