About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Responsible for the purchasing processes of highly complex production materials, involving the analysis of requisitions, preparation and verification of quotations, negotiations, approvals and placement of purchase orders and/or contracts within the negotiated deadlines, with competitive costs/prices and pre-established quality standards!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Serve as procurement lead for SAP S/4HANA updates, supplier onboarding (R4B/R2O), and process standardization across North America.
- Manage procurement KPIs including SDR/OTD, invoice processing, ESN/NLA coding corrections, and support internal/external audits.
- Conduct supplier evaluations (DOME), risk assessments (Superis), and categorization (C1–C3), while supporting EHS compliance initiatives.
- Issue and audit purchase orders in SAP (ME21N/ME31L), ensuring alignment with SCM301 standards and strategic buyer negotiations.
- Drive automation and digitalization of procurement workflows, including EDI implementation and auto-order parameterization in SAP.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve purchasing tools, support strategic buyers, and participate in procurement workshops and meetings.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 10 years of experience required within Procurement & Supply Chain.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft office products (Power Point, Word and Excel).
- Experience with SAP PT2 is desirable.
- Must be customer focused and a collaborative team player.
- Possess the ability to assess priorities, demonstrate flexibility and understand sense of urgency.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, demonstrate problem solving abilities, decision-making, and continuous improvement skills.
