About the Role
Snapshot of Your Day:
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager in Olean, NY to implement and control the support of the cross-functional supplier selection team with required quality data; conduct supplier audit and supplier capability or capacity audit and assessment of supplier risk.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) according to applicable process descriptions and standards.
- Support the supplier quality measures along the complete process chain.
- Plan, implement, optimize and control the efficiency of the defined Supplier Quality Management Process (procedures, guidelines and tools), to ensure the requested quality.
- Coach supplier to follow Siemens Energy Quality Management Process and usage related tools.
- Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs, quality root cause analysis and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measurements at the supplier.
- Track implementation and effectiveness of measures.
- Participate in design review as main interface of SQM with design engineers.
- Conduct design review with suppliers for new design.
- Initiate early supplier involvement for new design if necessary.
- Support DTL (design to localization) and DTC (design to cost) effort.
- 25% domestic/international travel required.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience.
- Experience must include 1 year with: utilizing planview software;
- Centrifugal and/or reciprocating compressors;
- Compressor design;
- Project management software (OnePM);
- Excel, MS Office;
- Capacity planning;
- Quality assurance;
- Supply chain process; and
- Logistics.
- 25% domestic/international travel required.
