This position is responsible for maintaining all shipping and logistics required for each order, ensuring goods received conform to order specifications, quantity, and condition. It involves close collaboration with warehouse employees to promote fast and efficient processing of export orders, along with diligent oversight and analysis of government filings to ensure accuracy and legal compliance. Staying current on Export Retention filings and supporting the department in other areas as needed are also key responsibilities. The objective is to ensure on-time delivery for each customer’s order while meeting all import and export requirements, as delays can impact on both organizational income (OI) and customer satisfaction. The role is accountable for sustaining a 95% on-time delivery rate each month and managing inventory through ERP system transactions. Positioned within the SAM Organization, this role contributes to meeting customer requirements, generating revenue, and supporting ongoing organizational performance across monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to meet daily and monthly goals, including scheduling pickups with carriers like DHL, UPS, and FedEx.
- Communicate with customers, freight forwarders, Operations, Sales, and Procurement to ensure timely deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit required government documentation for export shipments, including EEI filings and HTS code determinations.
- Manage inventory and shipping transactions using the ERP system, ensuring accurate receiving and shipping records.
- Collaborate with the NAC warehouse team daily to ensure product readiness and proper packaging to prevent damage or corrosion.
- Maintain and organize shipment and receiving documentation for Finance, especially during month-end and quarter-end reporting.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or in a related field or a High School diploma.
- 1+ years of experience in logistics, receiving and inventory control.
- Knowledge of inventory controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft based applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

This job may be based in New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
