About the Role
- Management and coordination of heavy goods, ODC, and general cargo shipments, including budget responsibility, cost calculation, savings identification, and risk minimization
- Steering and coordination of international logistics teams to ensure smooth transport chains during project execution
- Support of project tender phases through development of complex transport concepts for international technical large-scale projects in line with customer and project requirements
- Conducting risk assessments and evaluations as well as reviewing customer specifications and EPC contracts
- Management of international logistics and service providers while ensuring compliance with transport contracts, costs, deadlines, and contractual requirements
- Coordination of transport concepts with international internal and external stakeholders and project partners
- Completed commercial or technical training, ideally as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk with several years experience in project logistics, ideally within international projects and complex logistics solutions or university degree in Business Administration or Logistics Management with first relevant experience
- Experience working in international cross-functional teams with strong coordination skills and solid knowledge of logistics and contract law
- Knowledge of risk, claim, and opportunity management as well as PM@Siemens-related process understanding is desirable
- Fluent English and ideally good German skills together with good MS Office and ideally SAP knowledge
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills combined with customer orientation, assertiveness, and a proactive mindset for process improvement and innovation
