Join our dynamic team as you collaborate closely with the O&M Manager and the O&M services contract to tackle technical tasks in instrumentation, control, and electrical systems. You will implement I&C functions while ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency, all while adhering to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Imagine being at the forefront of innovation, where your expertise directly contributes to the operational excellence of our facilities!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You will perform instrument calibrations, field checks, and maintenance on control equipment, ensuring all systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain and install control, monitoring, alarm, and indicating systems, while keeping the maintenance management system up to date with logs of problems, repairs, and downtime.
  • Monitor project schedules, labor, material needs, and safety, while performing tests, repairs, and modifications on live systems, identifying design improvements, and recommending modifications for resolution.
  • Collaborate with outside contractors during overhauls and provide training to new hires, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Write, review, and revise maintenance procedures, perform failure analysis to determine the cause of equipment malfunctions, and complete the necessary training to excel as an IC&E Technician.

What You Bring

  • You have a strong background in electronics and instrumentation, with a high school diploma or equivalent experience; an Associate’s degree or certification in the electrical or controls field is preferred.
  • With at least 5 years of experience as an IC&E Technician in a power plant environment, you demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot large generators, transformers, and switchgear systems.
  • You possess the skills to read and understand P&IDs, electrical, and mechanical drawings, and can pass respirator fit tests for respiratory protective equipment.
  • Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are excellent, allowing you to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential, with experience in PeopleSoft being a plus.
