- Execute and oversee daily import and export customs activities, including documentation review, tariff classification, preference determination, and customs value validation.
- Prepare and validate customs documentation and ensure accurate and timely submissions to customs authorities while maintaining master data in SAP S/4HANA or MIC.
- Ensure compliance with national, EU, and international customs regulations and support internal and external customs audits.
- Monitor regulatory changes and contribute to the implementation of compliance measures and internal control requirements (ICP Europe).
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Export Control, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Tax, IT, and Country Customs Responsibles.
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and digitalization initiatives while supporting strategic customs projects across the organization.
- Completed degree or vocational qualification in Customs, International Trade, Business Administration, Law, or a comparable field.
- Several years of professional experience in customs operations, including import/export procedures, tariff classification, customs valuation, and preferential origin.
- Solid knowledge of EU customs regulations; experience working across multiple European countries is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with customs and ERP systems such as SAP, S/4HANA, or MIC.
- Strong analytical and structured working style with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions and communicate effectively in an international environment.
- Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus, with willingness to travel occasionally within Europe (approx. 10–20%).
