How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Application of in-house and commercial calculation software for:
  • Creation of calculation models describing the cooling air supply of hot gas path components in a gas turbine and evaluation of the corresponding results
  • Creation of calculation models describing the transient heating and thermal expansion of the entire gas turbine and determination of optimum assembly clearances between rotating and stationary components
  • Evaluation of model results and derivation of design-relevant conclusions
  • Collaboration in the conceptual development of the Secondary Air System and associated gas turbine components
  • Evaluation of operational data and findings from prototypes and the existing fleet
What You Bring
