About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
The Constructability & Construction Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that engineering designs are constructible, safe, cost-effective, and compliant with applicable codes, standards, and best practices. This role serves as a key liaison between engineering, construction, and quality teams across EPC projects involving high-voltage electrical infrastructure, including FACTS, HVDC, and substation facilities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead constructability reviews across proposal, engineering, and execution phases to identify risks, verify feasibility, and drive construction optimization.
- Develop and evaluate construction methodologies, sequencing strategies, and installation plans for high‑voltage electrical infrastructure and associated systems.
- Provide technical guidance on construction means and methods for foundations, structural steel, equipment installation, cable systems, grounding, and protection systems.
- Establish and implement Construction Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, and field quality procedures while ensuring compliance with IEEE, NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, ACI, OSHA, and applicable codes.
- Support field teams through issue resolution, design clarifications, non‑conformance management, and site audits to verify safety, quality, and adherence to approved methodologies.
- Contribute to commissioning, turnover, and closeout, while identifying risks, capturing lessons learned, and driving continuous improvement across projects.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a strong equivalent technical background. 10+ years of site and commissioning experience, with a deep understanding of field execution realities and technical requirements.
- Demonstrated bid leadership, driving clarity, alignment, and high‑quality deliverables across complex tender processes.
- Advanced planning skills using MS Project and Primavera, with the ability to translate project scope into actionable, credible schedules.
- Solid commercial and contractual acumen, enabling informed decision‑making and risk‑aware bid development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, ensuring alignment across engineering, commercial, and execution teams.
- All candidates must be authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the United States.
