About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Bid Manager for Nuclear Steam, you will be the driving force behind our proposal and bidding activities for new apparatus in the nuclear power sector. This role requires a blend of deep technical understanding, commercial acumen, and project management discipline to navigate the entire bid lifecycle from initial customer inquiry to contract negotiation.
The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in the power generation industry, specifically with steam turbines. You possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a strategic mindset.

- This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by securing key projects
- You will lead the development of complex, high-value technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and strategically aligned with our business objectives.
- Your primary responsibility will be to analyze customer requirements, define winning bid strategies in collaboration with Sales, and orchestrate the contributions of a multi-disciplinary team including engineering, logistics, and purchasing.
- You will serve as the key technical authority in customer meetings, articulating our value proposition and negotiating contract terms.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in engineering, bid management, sales, or related field
- Excellent Oral, Written and Presentation Skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within teams.
