About the Role
Location: 浙江省杭州经济技术开发区18号大街(东)128号
This position for an After-Sales Service Engineer is an addition to the Erection and Commissioning team in SHVC, created to address business continuity risks from a shortage of professional engineers and increasing demand for equipment services. The position requires long-term business trips, and candidates must have a certain level of English proficiency, experience in installing and commissioning circuit breakers and disconnecting switches, team writing skills, and problem-solving abilities. To meet this demand, the role focuses on three core areas: on-site technical execution for switchgear equipment, direct customer support and training, and comprehensive service documentation. This structure ensures that all aspects of the after-sales service lifecycle, from installation to maintenance and reporting, are effectively managed. Given the focus on hands-on field service and customer interaction, the ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a similar technical role, supported by a vocational degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline. Key requirements include strong troubleshooting skills, proficiency with electrical systems, and excellent communication abilities.
How You’ll Make an Impact

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues on electrical and mechanical systems in the field to minimize customer downtime.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers during service interventions, providing expert guidance and support.
- 20% Service Documentation & Reporting
- Complete detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and commissioning checklists for all on-site activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Document product failure information and serviceability issues, escalating complex problems to the relevant engineering teams for analysis and resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of tools, spare parts, and test equipment used for service jobs.
- 20% Customer Support & Training
- Instruct customers on the correct operation, safety procedures, and routine maintenance of installed equipment.
- Provide clear and professional communication to clients regarding service status, findings, and recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction.
