How You’ll Make an Impact
- Joining an internationally distributed team of software developers
- Responsibility for collecting usage metrics from a standalone desktop application and integrating them into an existing web-based visualization platform
- Analysis of user interactions with the application to identify areas for improvement and to guide future development priorities
- Contribution to exploring how usage data can influence the behavior of other running instances of the application (e.g., file locking, triggering UI changes)
- Close collaboration with software architects and developers to implement backend enhancements and data-driven features
What You Bring
- Enrollment in a technical or IT-related field of study
- An analytical mindset, a structured approach to problem-solving, and motivation to learn
- Good written and spoken English skills and comfort working in an international, multicultural environment
- Strong programming experience in C++ and with the Qt framework
- Experience with Grafana dashboards, and possibly with tracking application performance using Sentry
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and version control workflows, plus eagerness to contribute to real-world software development challenges
