A Snapshot of Your Day

Our Operational & Digital Excellence team is at the forefront of digital transformation, enhancing our technological capabilities and driving innovation. We are currently focusing on two main projects: the development of DevOps practices in Microsoft Azure and the enhancement of our cloud infrastructure. We are looking for two working students to join our team and contribute to these exciting initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for one of these projects, with guidance and support through weekly alignment meetings and periodic one-on-one sessions.

 

If you are interested in joining our team as a Working Student (m/f/d) (part-time starting from 20 hours per week), we look forward to receiving your application. This position is hybrid, allowing for both remote work from home and from our office locations.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • If you focus on DevOps in Microsoft Azure, you should have:
    • The ability to develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
    • Good knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
    • Strong technical skills to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications and services.
 
  • If your main goal is to enhance our cloud infrastructure, you should have:
    • Experience in handling cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking in Azure.
    • Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
    • Capability to manage and optimize cloud costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.

What You Bring

  •  Ongoing studies with a focus on Data Science, Software Development or IT
  •  Very good English language skills
  •  Curiosity to deep dive into the topics and provide your inputs
  •  Strong organizational skills to manage own tasks and deliver results within deadlines

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of 39.719,- € gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
