A Snapshot of Your Day

Join Siemens Energy’s Transmission team and take ownership of transformer warranty projects from start to finish. You’ll set the direction, manage milestones, and ensure every detail meets our high standards – from reviewing contracts to final handovers. You’ll partner closely with customers, internal teams, and subcontractors, coordinating engineering, operations, logistics, and services to deliver technically sound and commercially successful results. By controlling project budgets and timelines while building strong relationships across disciplines, you’ll play a key role in keeping energy flowing efficiently and reliably. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage all phases of transformer warranty projects, from inception to completion, ensuring measurable success in quality, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and communication strategies between customers and Siemens Energy stakeholders.
  • Review agreements, specifications, budgets, and scope in detail before project commencement, ensuring full alignment and risk awareness.
  • Monitor labor, material costs, and productivity for strong project control and accurate forecasts of revenue and profit.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, field service teams, and internal specialists to meet milestones and deliver successful closures and handovers.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred; Associate’s degree with equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of electrical installation or construction project management experience in the transformer industry, including projects with budgets over $1 million.
  • Strong leadership skills and proven collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across program management, engineering, operations, and logistics.
  • Experience in subcontractor management, risk management, project communications, commercial reporting, and closure processes.
  • Willing to travel 20% domestically and internationally.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
