A Snapshot of Your Day

Your work has a strong focus on measuring with special instrumentation on turbo machinery mainly in an R&D environment. You are responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and execution of testing projects according to test requestor requirements worldwide on customer sites. Your task requires theoretical, technical and mechanical knowledge of the function of turbo machines, instrumentation and data acquisition systems. You will work in a global team accompanied with your dedicated willingness of global travelling. Your main interfaces are testing engineers in our global hubs in Berlin, Mülheim and Casselberry offices. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

·         Support preparing measurement campaigns

·         Installation of measurement equipment on site - working in a construction environment

·         Commissioning of data acquisition system

·         Support conducting site measurements

·         Support in data analysis

·         Check feasibility of measuring requests

·         Ensuring testing processes, maintain our test data base

What You Bring

• Mechanical engineer, ideally with knowledge in turbo machinery
• Ideally 3-5 years of working experience
• Willingness to travel and perform measurements worldwide (~40- 70%)
• Data Acquisition and digital signal processing experience
• Experience with instrumentation measurement techniques
• Mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Good English language
• Working in a global team
• Flexibility on working times
• Basic programing skills

You will work in an agile and experienced team consisting of testing engineers and instrumentation technicians, constantly linked to our engineering departments. You can expect a pleasant and friendly working atmosphere within the team, characterized by appreciative and respectful interaction together.
