Snapshot of Your Day

As a Laboratory Team Leader / Test Engineer, you will lead the Test Field shift at our Switchgear factory in Querétaro, within the EQS (EHS, Quality & Safety) function.
You will combine technical expertise and leadership to coordinate the test team, ensure the correct execution of high-voltage electrical and mechanical tests, uphold safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer requirements across Mexico, Europe, and the United States.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the Test Field technical team during the shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Plan, execute, and monitor mechanical and electrical test activities according to customer requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and international testing standards.
• Resolve complex technical issues through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Project Management teams to align priorities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• More than 3 years of experience in manufacturing and/or test fields within the energy industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage electrical and mechanical testing and ISO 9001 standards.
• Advanced English proficiency for technical communication with international teams and plants.
• Proven leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset.

• You will work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Project Management teams.
