A Snapshot of Your Day

As a bid/tender engineer you have to work on the entire process of developing, preparing, and submitting winning proposals and tenders to secure new contracts for the company for Turn Key High Voltage Substation business.

The key responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams (like sales, procurement, finance, project managers and engineering) to create compelling and competitive bid responses, managing bid resources and budgets, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and achieving submission deadlines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Developing strategic approaches for bids and creating and executing detailed plans to ensure all steps are completed within the required time and financial parameters.
• Crafting comprehensive, clear and compliant bid proposals that address client needs and highlight the company's unique value.
• Working closely with various departments (sales, finance, legal, technical) to gather information, align strategies, and ensure the bid is complete and cohesive.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that could affect the bid and project execution success.
• Ensuring all proposals are accurate, submitted on time, and following up on the bid after submission, including presentations and negotiations (working in coordination with Sales)

What You Bring

• Academic background in Electrical Engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar role for High Voltage substations role, managing bids and tenders, and extensive experience in preparing technical and commercial bids.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple bids simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met while having the ability to develop compelling bid strategies that connect company capabilities with client needs.
• A strong understanding of pricing, costs, and profitability to ensure bids are commercially viable.
• Fluent in Greek and proficient in English.
