A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

As a Technical Project Manager, you will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of technical projects within the Project Management Office (PMO). You will help ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality standards. Working closely with project leads, internal stakeholders, and vendors, you will track milestones, manage project documentation, and assist in risk mitigation and resource planning.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional looking to grow in technical project management. You will contribute to the success of operational initiatives by providing critical analytical and administrative support, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and ensuring transparency across project activities.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Assist in developing detailed work plans, project schedules, and resource plans, maintaining accurate documentation in project management tools.
  • Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, preparing and distributing regular status reports to stakeholders.
  • Track project risks, assist in risk analysis, and support implementation of mitigation actions to keep projects on course.
  • Review project deliverables for adherence to quality standards and assist in documentation of project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to track tasks, review deliverables, and ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Provide analytical and administrative support to the project team, enabling effective decision-making and smooth project execution.

What You Bring (requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting technical project management, project coordination, or PMO activities in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA), strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
