A Snapshot of Your Day 

This position involves the technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of IT/OT technicians, the coordination of IT/OT projects, and the responsibility for maintaining and further developing the local IT/OT infrastructure.
The Local IT Team Lead works closely with other departments to ensure the seamless and high quality delivery of IT/OT services. In addition, he or she, together with the team, is integrated into global support and project structures and provides support for international initiatives as required.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Leadership, guidance, and performance management of the local IT/OT team, including mentoring and feedback
  • Coordination and prioritization of local and global IT/OT support requests, including first‑ and second‑line technical support
  • Setup, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of local and global IT/OT infrastructure (servers, networks, security systems, and end‑user devices)
  • Planning, leadership, and execution of local and international IT/OT projects and strategic initiatives
  • Cross‑functional collaboration with internal departments and the global IT organization to ensure stable operation of the global DT environment and remote site support
  • Compliance assurance with IT/OT policies and best practices, including documentation, ticket tracking, continuous process improvement, and evaluation of emerging technologies
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in IT/OT support or a comparable role, with leadership experience as an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of IT/OT systems, hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL), relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+), and SAP knowledge as a plus
  • Proficiency in the local language and English; additional language skills as an advantage
  • Strong personal attributes, including problem‑solving capability, communication skills, attention to detail, customer orientation, adaptability, a hands‑on mindset, and commitment to continuous learning
