A Snapshot of Your Day 

Omnivise T3000 is one of the leading control systems in the energy market. As Siemens Energy own control system it plays an important role in the global energy transition. One focus aspect of T3000 is to ensure highest quality for our customers. As a T3000 Lead Tester in controls system you are responsible for the planning, implementation and documentation of test activities. You work in an agile development process and create your test cases based on the user stories derived from the requirements. You will ensure the quality of our product through functional testing. You are part of a global and interdisciplinary team. 


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Planning and executing as well as documenting the test results of feature-based tests
  • Install and configure the automation level in SPPA-T3000 test systems (HW and SW)
  • Identify problems reported internally or from the field and consequently evaluate, analyses and search for root causes, including planning and release of error corrections
  • Drive technical clarification across agile teams and participation in communities of practice
  • Support the T3000 hotline and the training center with questions as well as problems and train them in the introduction of new functions
  • Advise “Product Managers” and “Product Owners” on defining requirements

What You Bring
  • B.Eng. / Master's degree in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering, with several years of professional experience
  • Practical experience in control technology systems, including power plants (including renewable energies such as wind, solar, etc.), and knowledge of distributed control systems and design
  • Experience in test automation using scripting, Selenium and QF-Test
  • Deep expertise in Linux (preferably Debian), along with knowledge of containerization and virtualization under Linux and central system deployment
  • Extensive experience in customer communication, coupled with familiarity with agile development processes (SAFe)
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English, German proficiency as a plus

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
