A Snapshot of Your Day

 

The Supplier Quality & Development Organization is responsible for securing the best performing supply base in quality, reliability, and safety. In this role you will be directly supporting the Gas Services Regional Service Americas business by qualifying, monitoring, and developing suppliers.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support cross-functional teams in assessing supplier capabilities, auditing supplier quality management systems and processes, and ensuring products and services meet applicable standards, specifications, and drawings.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to perform product and process qualifications for field service suppliers in accordance with defined procedures.
  • Perform supplier oversight to monitor quality performance and ensure ongoing compliance with requirements.
  • Support supplier development through performance evaluation, quality data analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and risk mitigation; track effectiveness of improvement actions.
  • Identify supplier nonconformances, initiate containment actions, and follow up to ensure timely and effective corrective actions.
  • Manage supplier quality and development tools and databases; support quality oversight for service suppliers including scaffolding, crane and lifting, dust blasting, machining, and related services; SAP experience preferred.

 

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • At least 5 years preferred professional experience in field service, supplier quality management or quality management.
  • Quick thinker with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Must have experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and National Codes and Standards (ASME, AWS, etc.) preferred.
  • You are a self-starter, determined and self-reliant; your organization, strategic, analytical, leadership skills and intercultural expertise round up your profile. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
