Über die Aufgabe
- Develop and qualify suppliers, defining and supervising measures to ensure top-notch quality standards.
- Consistently follow up on actions and commitments from supplier activities to ensure accountability and progress.
- Conducting audits and assessments with a strong focus on systems and processes, including ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, SE CoC, ISO27001, Product Safety Assessments, and more.
- Performance based steering of suppliers as well as supporting (and eventually leading) fast response teams with contingency procedures (risk-based approach)
- Continuously evaluate risks at suppliers, collaborate with material field working groups, and define specific approaches such as onsite presence, special audits, and more.
- Keep a close eye on released suppliers' performance, using overall supplier scorecards to identify focus areas for immediate or regular reaudits.
- Collaborate on developing Material Field Roadmaps to pinpoint opportunities and risks, ensuring material availability and process stability.
- Bachelor/Master or Phd degree in engineering or in related field.
- Several years of experience in supplier development and quality management, with a strong background in R&D, Manufacturing, or Project Development.
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with quality methods such as APQP, FMEA, 8D, RCA, and FMEA. Knowledge of supplier management standard methodologies and industry trends will be an asset.
- Holding a certification as an Auditor is a plus, especially VDA 6.3 / 6.7.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important for the position as well as accuracy, self-initiative, flexibility, and collaboration with other team members.
- Fluent English and good knowledge of German (both written and spoken) are required.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (over 50% travel) as needed
