A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine leading the charge in sustainability compliance, where your expertise ensures Siemens Energy stays ahead of evolving regulations like the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). You’ll spend your day conducting supplier data due diligence, validating critical information, and collaborating with Procurement teams to resolve discrepancies. Your efforts will drive compliance, safeguard data accuracy, and contribute to sustainability goals, all while fostering cross-functional collaboration and innovation. Join us in making a tangible impact on global environmental and social progress.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conduct supplier data due diligence, ensuring accurate collection and validation of data such as HS codes and purchase order line items.
- Collaborate with Procurement teams to resolve discrepancies, track closure, and monitor updates to Material Management systems.
- Engage vendors to facilitate CBAM/EUDR submissions and manage discrepancies efficiently.
- Configure and optimize due diligence workflows and tools, while assessing risks and implementing mitigations to ensure data quality.
- Visualize compliance progress through dashboards, prepare CBAM import declarations and quarterly reports, and compile EUDR due diligence statements for audits and internal/external reporting.
What You Bring
- Proven project management skills and advanced leadership capabilities to drive initiatives effectively.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with proficiency in managing large datasets using tools like Excel and Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks, including CBAM, EUDR, and HS/CN codes.
- Experience in supplier management, issue resolution, and networking, paired with solid English language skills.
- Familiarity with procurement processes such as purchase orders, master data management, and vendor onboarding, plus a demonstrated commitment to sustainability (ESG).
- Fluent English and Mandarin speaking.
