A Snapshot of Your Day

In your new role as Strategic Portfolio Manager, you will plan, lead and implement activities and projects that shape the portfolio of Digital Grid within Grid Technologies. Therefore, you will manage strategic programs and initiatives, which include participation of external partners as well as various functions across the Digital Grid organization. You will analyze risks and benefits from a technical and business perspective and define strategic direction for the Digital Grid portfolio. You will make sure our offering is well understood and will collaborate within our Business Area to drive growth. Further on you will present your new insights effectively to senior management, partners and customers.

We are seeking junior and mid-level candidates.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive initiatives that evaluate the positioning of our digital portfolio, and derive insights and recommendations for sustainable growth
  • Contribute to new business models development, evaluate, and prioritize the impact of new digital technologies in the portfolio
  • Research, initiate and implement strategic partnerships that support the delivery of our solutions
  • Develop detailed technical-economic analysis, with a strong focus on customer requirements
  • Contribute and drive early engagements with customer with a co-creation approach

What You Bring

  • Completed university degree in engineering, computer science, or similar field, additional qualifications such as Master or MBA are a plus.
  • Mid-term working experience in the field of energy systems, preferably transmission systems and products and/or strategic portfolio management.
  • Experience leading strategic projects and development programs, incl. budget management, partner management and stakeholder management (1 or more years of relevant experience for junior level; 5 or more years of relevant experience for mid-level).
  • Understanding of digital solutions in the energy industry, IIOT, Digital Twins, Grid Software, Grid Automation is beneficial.
  • Pro-active and hands on approach to challenges and getting things done mentality.
  • High level of dedication, collaboration, and ability to work with multicultural teams.
  • Ability to build up systematic and structured approach from various angles and develop sophisticated storylines to C-level executives.
  • Proficient communications skills in English to work in multi-cultural teams.
