A Snapshot of Your Day

Coordinate and supervise on-site execution of TI EAD projects in electrification, automation and digitalization, including electrical substations, grid/interface works, primary and secondary systems, protection and control, SCADA/automation, digital systems and related civil/electrical interfaces.

The Site Manager acts as Siemens Energy’s site representative within the assigned project scope and ensures that site activities are executed safely, on time, with the required quality, proper documentation and clear coordination with the Project Manager, contractors, customer and site stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Coordinate daily on-site execution activities within the Siemens Energy TI EAD scope, ensuring alignment with approved drawings, method statements, project schedule, quality requirements and customer/site constraints
  • Organize and monitor daily and weekly site activities, manpower, work fronts, access conditions, permits, deliveries and dependencies required for safe and efficient execution.
  • Ensure implementation of EHS requirements on site, promote Zero Harm Culture, participate in inductions, toolbox talks, site inspections and follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Represent Siemens Energy on site for operational matters related to on-site activities and coordinate with the customer, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and other contractors, within the agreed project communication rules.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and discipline leads, monitor productivity, work sequencing, resource availability and readiness of predecessor activities.
  • Review the project time schedule for erection and installation activities, monitor site milestones, identify delays early and support recovery actions together with the Project Manager
  • Measure and validate physical progress on site using agreed progress rules, compare reported progress with actual work completed and provide reliable inputs for project reporting.
  • Ensure execution in accordance with approved procedures, inspection and test plans, quality standards and Siemens Energy requirements. Monitor quality records, non-conformances and corrective actions
  • Coordinate site readiness for determinant phases, hold points and mandatory inspections, ensuring that required documentation, approved drawings, quality records, permits, test results and relevant project stakeholders are available. Follow up observations, minutes of inspection and closure of actions until acceptance.
  • Identify, document and escalate deviations from erection procedures, specifications, drawings, time schedules or quality requirements, and support resolution with engineering, quality and project management.
  • Act as site point of contact for deliveries, verify material receipt and storage conditions, coordinate availability of required materials and equipment and report damages or losses with clear responsibility assignment.
  • Recognize site risks and issues, maintain/update the list of open points related to site execution and escalate topics that may impact scope, schedule, budget, quality or safety, and report them to the Project Manager
  • Document daily site activities, prepare daily and weekly site reports, keep evidence of performed works, inspections, issues, manpower, equipment, deliveries and site constraints
  • Support testing, commissioning, energization readiness, punch-list/snagging management, site acceptance activities and final handover preparation within the Siemens Energy scope.
  • Ensure that site mark-ups, red-line drawings, installation records, test evidence and as-built inputs are maintained and transmitted to Engineering and Project Management for final documentation updates.
  • Support the Project Manager with site information, progress data, risk inputs, customer/site feedback, claims evidence and practical execution recommendations.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical, power, automation, civil or industrial engineering, or a comparable technical field. Training/certification in site management, EHS, QA/QC or project management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and site risk management processes.
  • Experience supervising electrical, civil and installation works on substations, T&D or industrial energy projects.
