A Snapshot of Your Day

As Site Project Manager for HVDC projects your working day starts at an industrial construction site. You will plan and organize the daily site activities together with your team. You will be the primary contact for customer, authorities, contractors, partners at construction site. You will align and work closely together with the project management and project team in the back office. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Hold overall responsibility for on-site operations within Siemens Energy personnel’s jurisdiction, along with legal accountability for the project site and on-site personnel
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, promote Zero Harm Culture, and uphold safety standards
• Represent Project Management interests all involved project stakeholders
• Manage on-site implementation, financial outcomes, timelines, and quality for Siemens Energy's scope
• Handle deviations from procedures, oversee contract and claim activities, and escalate impactful issues
• Support project-specific reporting, ensuring technical changes are resolved before milestones 

What You Bring 

• Higher education degree in an electrical or civil engineering discipline
• At least 5 years onsite experience in a leading position leading positions on construction site
• Extensive experience in construction of complex industrial projects (preferable for HVDC projects) - EPC and/or Consortium Partner (CP) projects
• Experience in EHS policies, regulations, and plans for complex construction projects on-site for complex construction projects.
• Proven experience in leading multinational teams in a quick changing environment
• PM Certification is a plus (e.g. IPMA Level B or C)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Fluent in English and German (C1)
• Executing energy projects of several months or long-term duration, mainly located outside Poland
