As the Service Operations Manager, you will provide comprehensive operational leadership to ensure the sites achieve peak performance, safety, and profitability. This role is pivotal in directing all site activities, from strategic planning to daily execution, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across the technical and support teams. You will be responsible for the holistic management of the wind farm service operations, including full P&L accountability, customer relationship management, and team leadership. Your key duties will involve maximizing turbine availability and energy production, implementing and enforcing rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, and mentoring a team of skilled technicians. This position requires a strategic mindset to optimize costs, manage resources effectively, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership. The ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader with a proven track record in managing complex, safety-critical environments, preferably within the renewable energy or a related industrial sector. You possess strong commercial acumen, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining strong customer partnerships and delivering on all contractual and financial objectives for the sites.

- Oversee strategic planning and execution of wind farm operations to maximize availability, production, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational, financial, and safety performance.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- 30% Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Leadership
- Establish and enforce a world-class safety culture, ensuring all site activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure the team is equipped and trained to maintain an incident and injury-free work environment.
- 20% Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of site technicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Manage team schedules, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.
- Promote open communication and maintain a visible leadership presence on site.
- 10% Customer & Commercial Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, managing relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnership.
- Manage the site's budget and Profit & Loss (P&L) statement to achieve commercial targets.
- Ensure service obligations are delivered in accordance with contractual agreements.

Education
Education
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the wind or renewable energy industry.
- Demonstrated experience with full P&L responsibility in a complex operational environment.
