A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dedicated team at the Hollandse Kust Zuid offshore wind farm, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs. Imagine leading a small team of technicians while performing advanced technical maintenance and troubleshooting on wind turbines. You will engage in daily operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, while mentoring junior technicians to foster their growth. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining turbine availability and supporting the seamless operation of our site, all while adhering to strict EHS protocols.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will perform complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure high turbine availability.
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, optimizing turbine operation and preventing failures through technical analysis and recommendations.
- Lead daily on-site operations, delegating tasks and providing on-the-job training to junior technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS policies during all work activities, completing detailed service reports and maintenance logs for all tasks performed.
- Utilize SCADA systems for monitoring turbine status, analyzing data, and reporting, while reviewing field feedback for quality and correctness.
What You Bring
- You have a completed vocational or technical degree (e.g., Dutch MBO level 4) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Wind Turbine Technician, demonstrated expertise in a senior or lead capacity is a plus, particularly in offshore wind turbine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- You possess advanced knowledge of wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
- Your commitment to EHS standards is unwavering, and you have held/able to hold certifications such as GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) and GWO Basic Technical Training (BTT).
- You are skilled in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and have a strong mechanical aptitude, with experience in SCADA systems and quality control.
- Open to work on a 2 weeks on-2 weeks off rotation shift
