A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Sales Manager for our TI Region Texas, you will lead a dynamic team focused on driving sales strategy and expanding our market presence. Your day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, engaging with key customers, and analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales approach, mentoring your team, and ensuring that our innovative Steam Turbine and Compressor solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual sales plan to achieve order entry targets and enhance market penetration for our steam turbine and compressor portfolio in assigned Territory
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners, acting as the primary point of contact for major accounts and negotiating profitable contracts.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth, adapting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Prepare and present sales budgets, forecasts and performance reports to senior management, utilizing data analysis to inform strategic decisions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management within the energy sector, particularly in compressor technologies. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in competitive markets.
  • Strong understanding of the power generation, Oil & Gas, and general industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to travel as needed.

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.
