A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Regional Parts Specialist within Steam America, you will be responsible for developing proposals/bids within your Region (North America) improving competitiveness in the Market to sustain and grow our Service Business. Experience and strengthen our empowerment, collaboration and ownership culture.

This role is based in Olean, NY and will unfortunately not support relocation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Prepare proposals and formal bids, ensuring adherence to pricing guidelines and timely delivery to meet client expectations while collaborating with Engineering and Operations for creative solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with clients to secure business.
  • Initiate Engineering and Operations activities by entering orders into the ERP System.
  • Pursue sales opportunities using Sales Force (CRM Tool) and engage proactively with regional sales teams and clients. Use tactical and strategic tools/templates to improve order intake and profit, Support Regional Forecasting, other critical-to-business reports and engage in business improvement activities
  • Drive client satisfaction through relationship building, collaborative selling, and quick issue resolution.
  • Provide pricing, lead time, and inventory recommendations to the Regional Parts Manager based on market feedback and support marketing and sales department activities.

What You Bring

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED required, associate's degree in business or a technical field preferred.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in parts operations, marketing & sales, customer service, or a related field. Those with more experience may be considered for more senior level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and/or SAP.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills. Understanding of technical bill of materials and drawings is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 5%.

This job is based in Olean, New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits, including paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position in Olean, New York is $67,000 -$135,000 and the annual incentive target is 0-10% of base salary.

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
