A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will act as the quality partner for Service business activities across both Product Lifecycle Services (PLS) and Grid Lifecycle Services (GLS). You will collaborate with Service Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Development Teams, Execution Units, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure quality, risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement are effectively integrated into service products and solutions development. You will provide independent quality oversight, facilitate risk-based decision-making, and support the successful delivery of Service business objectives while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Serve as the Quality Manager in Projects (QMiP) for Service development initiatives
- Support the integration of quality planning, risk management, lessons learned, and continuous improvement in the product and solution space for service.
- Facilitate quality reviews, management reviews, development milestone assessments, and readiness evaluations.
- Promote risk-based thinking by supporting the identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of product, service, project, and business risks.
- Provide independent quality oversight and transparent escalation of significant quality, compliance, or risk concerns.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Product Management, Project Management and Execution Stakeholders to achieve quality objectives.
- Support audit preparation, assessments, root cause analysis, corrective actions.
- Facilitate sharing of best practices and lessons learned across Service portfolio and execution organizations globally
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering with long term experience in quality management
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, risk management methodologies in development projects.
- Ideally, experience within service businesses
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
